Sitting on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain, Slidell lives with water, humidity, and storm season in a way that most cities never have to plan around. Boats, docks, patios, and outdoor equipment here take a beating that an off-the-shelf tarp was never built to survive. That's where Porch City Tarp comes in. We design and sew every tarp, cover, and curtain we sell at our own Louisiana workshop, and each one carries our Made in the USA guarantee.
We're not a catalog supplier shipping in generic sizes. Every order starts with a conversation about the boat, the equipment, or the space you're protecting, and it's built to match. That's the difference between a cover that survives a Gulf Coast summer and one that tears loose by August.
Proudly Made in the USA
Every tarp, cover, and curtain we sell is manufactured on-site in Louisiana, backed by our Made in the USA guarantee.
Custom Covers for Every Corner of Your Slidell Property
Marine Covers Built for Lake Pontchartrain and the Bayous Around Slidell
Between Lake Pontchartrain, Bayou Bonfouca, and the Rigolets, Slidell has more boats, docks, and waterfront property per household than most Louisiana cities. Salt spray, humidity, and sun exposure wear down a generic cover fast. We manufacture:
- Boat blinds built to fit your specific hull and console
- Bow straps sized to hold tight through wake and weather
- Dock and equipment covers built for constant humidity exposure
- Pool and patio covers sized for waterfront and lakeside properties
Every piece is measured and built to your boat or property, not pulled from a rack of standard sizes.
Storm-Ready Covers Built for Slidell's Hurricane Season
Slidell homeowners and businesses know the drill every summer and fall: tropical systems roll off the Gulf, and whatever isn't secured or covered pays the price. We build equipment covers, greenhouse covers, and protective enclosures using materials and stitching chosen to hold up through wind, driving rain, and the long, humid stretches in between storms. When a named storm is tracking toward the coast, a cover you can trust to stay put matters more than one that just looks good on the shelf.
Fleet and Freight Coverage for the I-10 and I-12 Corridor
Slidell sits right where I-10 and I-12 meet, putting local fleets in the thick of freight moving between New Orleans, the Northshore, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We manufacture:
- Flatbed tarps in 8-foot, 6-foot, and 4-foot drops, in heavy-duty, medium-duty, or lightweight material
- Tarp systems for dump trucks and dump trailers
- Bed liners built to protect dump truck and trailer beds from wear
- Tarp repair services to extend the life of your existing equipment
Residential Covers for Homeowners Around Slidell
From Olde Towne to Eden Isles and out toward Lakeshore Estates, Slidell homeowners deal with humidity, storm exposure, and waterfront living that most standard covers just aren't built for. Our residential lineup includes:
- Custom equipment covers
- Pool covers
- Greenhouse covers
- Bow straps
- Boat blinds
Every residential order is measured and built to fit your specific equipment, pool, or boat, not a standard size pulled off a shelf.
